1. What is the cost of each of your groups?

For a four hour event in the Boston area, the cost of our groups ranges from $200 for a single musician to $5000 for our largest groups. Mid-sized jazz and classical ensembles generally run between $600 and $1200. However, cost varies depending on the time, location, and length of the event. Of course, we'll work with you to ensure that you are comfortable with your musical needs and how they fit your budget.

2. How do I book Michael Reavey Music for my event?

There are three steps to the booking process:

Address, phone, and e-mail
Date, time, and location of the event
Which ensemble or musicians you would like to use
The number of hours for which you would like to book music

We will prepare a contract and send it to you
Return and sign the contract within 10 days along with a 50% deposit.

The balance is due not more than 10 days after the performance.

3. At what sorts of events does Michael Reavey Music perform?

Wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions, parties, corporate events, heritage festivals, and church services are examples of events at which Michael Reavey Music provides music. However, we are not limited to performing at any particular sort of occasion. Our network of musicians is versatile and accustomed to making a variety of unique events musical successes.

4. What will the musicians wear at my event?

The musicians will wear whatever you'd like, from casual clothing for a simple party, to tuxedos for a wedding.

5. When will the musicians arrive at the event?

Generally, a band with a sound system will have their equipment set up one hour prior to the start of the event. Classical musicians usually arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.

6. Do you help coordinate the music for my event?

Yes, we are able to work with you to customize all of your musical needs for your event. From arranging the classical music for a wedding ceremony, to making sure the guests at your party dance all night, we can make sure that all of the necessary parties; clergy, caterers, organists, and DJs are all communicating effectively.

7. Will your musicians work with other musicians that I provide?

Yes. If, for example, you would like us to work with your church organist or a vocalist that you provide, we would be more than happy to be sure that everyone is communicating and performing together effectively.
